Fare Search and Lock In
Agents pull live airline fares straight from the endpoints. They can then move to lock a booking through onchain USDC escrow. The process keeps the search and the payment step separate until the agent decides to proceed.
Dedicated Escrow Per Order
Each booking spins up its own onchain escrow. The refund wallet gets set at the moment the escrow forms. Funds stay put until the order captures or a refund triggers.
Automatic Refund on Failure
A failed booking sends the full USDC amount back without manual steps. The system handles the return on its own once the order does not complete.
Fare Check Before Funds Move
The fare gets checked again right before payment. If the price changed, nothing enters escrow. The agent simply runs the search again to confirm the latest rate.
Passenger Details and Order Tracking
Agents submit passenger information through the API. They can check order status at any time. Refund requests also route through the same endpoints when needed.
x402 Metering for Paid Calls
Every paid call runs through x402 per-call payments. The metering keeps costs tied directly to usage. No subscriptions or standing balances sit in the background.
pay.sh Core Design
pay.sh itself runs on the idea that agents pay for APIs per request. No accounts, keys, or subscriptions stand in the way. The BRIJ Flight API sits inside that model on Solana.

The Solana Foundation posted about the live status on Oct. 15, 2026. BRIJ followed with its own confirmation on Oct. 16, 2026. The service page at pay.sh now lists the BRIJ Flight API with the full set of endpoints.
